Tabletops

The table is such a customary and necessary article of daily use that sometimes it seems to have existed forever as the mankind has been using this sort of furniture since time immemorial to organize its everyday life. Indeed, any platform or surface can be used as a tabletop. What can be simpler for the inventor's mind of any epoch? First tables (the way we are used to seeing them) appeared in Ancient Egypt several thousand years B.C. Since then in people’s mind the table is associated with the comfort of home, well-being and prosperity. The table is a symbol of hospitality because this is where the entire family and friends gather on special occasions. At the table we enjoy our meals and conversations. The impressions from the feast are emphasized not only by means of proper table setting but also by the quality and looks of the tabletop, which will add a touch of luxury and glamour to any interior, if it is made of natural stone.
